        Hey everyone!

Jonah, my rabbit, doesn’t really like to chew a whole lot but when I gave him a peeled willow ball he really liked it. Willow balls can sometimes get a little pricey so I was wondering if rabbits can have Java wood. I lot of you might be familiar with BudgetBunny (I really recommend her channel) and she uses colored java wood for here bunnies. The balls are made for birds but she says they are safe. I just wanted to double check before I go out and buy any. And if any of you have tried java wood, how does it compare to willow?

I think it would be safe, but I don’t think a rabbit would enjoy it as much as willow toys. Buns like to eat the willow pieces they chew off, this is the main draw. These java wood pieces just look like hunks of wood.

If it’s safe for birds, it’s safe for rabbits but I agree with Beka, the willow is much more enjoyable for rabbits than a hunk of wood.
