Things went soooo well!  We met three awesome bunnies but one of them Rascal REEEALLY didn’t like.  The other was a lionhead and sooooo cute and soft. I was in love with him when I held him.  Then there was this dwarf whose name was Marley. He was sooo adorable as well.  My rabbits dated for a while and had no problems with Marley. The lionhead, Bowie, Rascal would nip at but nothing too serious.  However, they had no problems whatsoever with Marley.  I ended up taking Marley home.  =D  He is way cute!  Prepare your hearts!  =P

Yes, me too! Apparently he was an owner turn in. They moved and their landlord said “no bunnies” so they had to give him up. It was him and another girl bunny he got pregnant and she had his babies. I think after they got spayed/neutered they didn’t like each other anymore…Well the girl bun didn’t like Marley. Anyways, it’s sad that people move and don’t consider their pets first! They should have found somewhere bunny friendly since they had bunnies…But people are ready to give up animals when ever. =( Marley is said to be about 2 years old. So he’s a little older than my bunnies, still young bun bun though.

I have Marley in the condo and I wasn’t sure if he was able to get on the ledge that leads to the ramp because he is so small but this morning I found him up there. He was checking out the ramp so maybe he’ll be smart like Valentine and use the ramp soon? I tried to coax him but he’s shy around me so he didn’t really pay attention. He’ll warm up soon. Just have to work with him. =)

He’s been dying for a new friend and now he’s hopefully going to have two! I guess at the rescue he would always try to make friends with the other bunnies but of course other bunnies wouldn’t want him. My bunnies were very accepting of him on the bunny date. It reminded me of when Rascal met Valentine. There weren’t any real negative things and they bonded really well, with no scuffles. The only thing with Marley is he wants to be dominant and he was showing that by mounting and he tried mounting Rascal and Rascal had to tell him to back off. Nothing serious, though. Rascal is the king of this house so he needs to tell Marley that and I am sure he will.

I am not sure what his coloring is called. I just know he’s adorable and so tiny. lol Every time I hold him I’m like “jeeze Marley you are so tiny!!”

Marley’s wellness check at the vet is Wednesday. Hoping his teeth are good.  He seems like a healthy boy though.

Marley is trying to adjust. I was going to take him to the vet today but I cancelled the vet appointment because the poor dude is pretty uneasy still. He will let me pet him for a little bit, now, but he doesn’t really want to be touched or picked up. So I am waiting until he’s comfortable to take him to the vet for a check up. I just have to work with him a little to build his confidence. =)
