Apollo gets pellets on unlimited access (he’s 5-6 months old, so I assume that’ll have to change soon?) and he also gets unlimited hay (A little Alfalfa, some meadow and oaten.) and occasionally a little slice of carrot if we have it with our dinner. But he also gets leafy greens that I introduced slowly (Green tops to carrots, celery tops, bok choy, curly kale, parsley and a little red leaf lettuce).
He eat them whilst I was introducing them but now, when I mix them into a veggie dinner, he totally ignores them! I’ve tried putting them infront of him, wetting them, leaving them dry. He just leaves them to go limp, and then my mum moans because its a waste of money as he’s not eating them!
Obviously he has to have veggies, and he’ll eat the orange carrot slices, but totally ignore the good greens. I understand, it’s like us choosing between a lollipop and vegetables, but do you have any tips to get him eating them?
Thanks,
