This is Oliver. I’m meeting him on Saturday! I guess originally he was at a Human Society shelter, but he was so shy and afraid that no one would take him so they gave him to Special Bunnies, which is a organization who takes care and finds homes for bunnies with special needs.

They tell me that he is doing better, and is a very happy bun, but is still pretty timid. They don’t know what happened in his life to make him so shy, but that once you get to know him he’s a big sweety.

I think him and my Effy will be perfect together. Effy is not scared of anything, she’ll even come face to face with our 100 pound St. Bernard pup, through a fence of course, never know what a puppy will do. I’m hoping that with another bunny to play with Effy will be less mischievous, and that she will encourage Oliver to be a little braver.

I can’t wait to meet him, and boop his adorable little white nose! Also, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of bunny he is? He’s tiny, only about 2-3 pounds I would guess, full grown.

Congrats! He looks like a bunny I had 6 years ago who passed away.

So cute! I really hope Effy can help him be more outgoing.

I’ve found that my pair has brought out the best in each other. Otto never jumped up on the couch until Hannah showed him that it was possible. Hannah can be anxious about new things and places, but Otto is so laid back about it that he helps her calm down.

I would really try to bring Effy, if you can. Mine have done 7+ hour car rides just fine, so 1.5 hours isn’t too much for her. It would be great if they could have a date before bringing him home.

Wow, 7 hours is a lot! Maybe I will try and bring her!

you know what they say, two opposites even each other out and opposites attract (that sounded a lot better in my head)

The meeting got moved to today. And I am going to take Effy.
Oh! My! Goodness! Its like Effy can sense it! She’s in an amazing, and mischievous, mood this morning, binkies all over the place. I feel bad that her good mood will be dampened by the car ride though. Really hope they get along. Apparently, on Oliver’s last date he got beat up, and was pretty upset for a couple days.

It went SO well. Effy is in love! Oliver was a bit hesitant at first, lots of feet stomping, but within 10minutes they were sitting next to each other. Within 20 minutes they were grooming each other and Effy was flopping all over the place! The lady who has Oliver was completely floored, especially because Effy hasn’t been fixed. She was even comfortable with leaving them unattended for a couple minutes. It was amazing! She considered letting me take him home then and there, but I told her I would get Ef fixed as soon as possible and then come back for Oliver, just in case. I feel bad that Effy has to wait so long to be with him though.
