What is my rabbit doing? I will put fresh hay down and he will walk all over it and rearrange it and then climb off of it and eat. Sometimes after he stomps through it he will go away for a while and then he will come back and eat it….He isn’t pooing in it or urinating in it that I can tell. He mostly leaves the hay where it is rather than dragging it else where for a nest.

Maybe he just wants to reaarange it to his liking. My bunny will pull all the hay out of the container we put it in and drag it all over her home and play in it before she’ll eat it.

He’s probably just decorating or playing. My 6 month old with pull the hay strand by strand just to play with it. And then he will eat it.
