Actually, Velvet, you are on to something. I think it’s a good idea to have something about molting for new bunny owners (especially if their bunny is young as the first molt can be the craziest), and many owners think something is horribly wrong. Some bunnies will do what we call an explosion molt and/or even have a rather drastic color or texture change (or look like they are wearing a skirt sometimes). I may decide to add a quickie info page and I am sure members could submit some of their goofy molt photos. This is one I placed on facebook one day. Viv was just molting so much so I just gave her a good combing one day, and the fur to the left of her is what she so proudly produced — A molt monster!
However it will be important to note that there are medical conditions that can be related to fur loss too so that info will have to be referred to as well. Anyway, I have marked this down as a future “add” to our site when I get a chance. Thanks for the suggestion
