i read here that certain vets will help out other vets with hard to solve cases.

I wanna ask my vet to do a phone consult so i”m gathering info (i think my vet follows the hrs website so he is somewhat rabbit savvy but not i guess very rabbit savvy) (My rabbit is around 8 years old. He suffers from upper respiratory infection (sneezing/coughing),ear infection(s),teary eye(s),many small abscesses all over, possibly UTI(in the past it looked like possibly also sludge). The medicines he has been treated with are chloramphenicol (pill)no improvement, ciprofloxacin (oral)no improvement, chloramphenicol eye ointment somewhat worked, azithromycin(oral)seemed to work for his sneezing but after a double treatment he just wouldnt totally recover and with time his sneezing returned full force.also his ear infection didnt respond but after i stopped the treatment the pus in his ears somewhat decreased relatively., baytil otic didn’t work., trimethoprim/sulfamethoxizole (oral)[put him on this after culture and sensitivity] he had been on it for around 2 weeks no improvement.)
He has been battling some of these problems for awhile albeit the first few vets didn’t really do anything i guess they didn’t see it as anything major(the symtoms got worse as time went by). basicly all the antibiotics were started by the latest vet.
Thanks, i hope that clears that up.
Thanks
