  we brought Toffee to her new home on Wednesday after having her spay. I called our local vet to book her in for her checkup (3 days) and to have her stitches removed (10 days).
  
  Good job we took her for her 3 day check as when the vet looked at her wound discovered she had had a nibble and had opened it fully 🙁
  
  So another day at the vets to have the wound cleaned and resutured, straight after the surgery she was trying to take them out again so was made to wear a funky collar so she couldnt touch the wound again.
  
  Anyway, got her home and settled and about 4 hours later she had removed her collar and opened the top of the wound AGAIN!!
  
  Another visit to the vets and an overnight stay to ensure she left it alone (which she did), I picked her up this morning and she has managed to keep the collar on since.
  
  So nervous she will try and open the wound again!
  
  She is a little madam!!

  Oh goodness.. This poor little bun bun! How is she eating and pooping and what not? This seems to be a lot of stress for this little girl — I hope she’s handling it well and not refusing to eat or poop for you!

  Aww, poor bun must be so uncomfortable! I hope she is otherwise alright, with her activity level and eating. Best wishes!

  yea eating lots of hay and a whole lettuce since yesterday even though she wasn’t here for 12 hours of that! LOADS of poos too so all good there. her third eyelid keeps coming over but I’m not surprised with all that she’s been through!
  my male rabbit has also calmed down now, he was going crazy the first few days she was here!! bit my partner and jumped into toffees hutch with her!
  it’s all fun and games here at the moment!
