We recently got a second bunny to be friends with our spayed female Little Doll. When we took Magic to get neutered it turned out that she is a female too. So, now we have 2 spayed females
From the day one of them being introduced to each other we havent had a single problem. I brought them both to the kitchen, neutral territory. At first they kind of ignored each other. Then they sniffed each other, and younger Magic tried to chase Little doll, but non of them attacked or expressed agressive or scared behavior. They acted so calm that I didnt even separate them. They have a whole room for themselves, and there was enough room for both of them to have privacy. In just a few days they started cuddling, slightly grooming, and sleeping together. Now they do everything together. They eat at the same time side by side. Then they sit side by side grooming themselves. Then they plop on the rug and sleep leaning on each other. I didnt really had to go through difficult bonding steps.
Little Doll is so cuddly! She nudges Magic with her head and wants to be groomed. However Magic is kind of selfish, and it always ends up that Little Doll grooms Magic instead. I feel bad for Little Doll because it seems that she really want to be kissed and groomed
I dont exactly understand what bonded means. Do you think that our bunnies are bonded?
I will try to post some pics.
