Just took my little girl to the vet this morning for her checkup. I was nervous that she would get really scared but she did great! Even when they checked her temp
vet said she’s looks perfectly healthy, everything looks & sounds clear! I was worried about this since the person who got her, bought her from a flea market
she weighs 5.8lbs at 6mos.
Anyway! I really liked the vet, he handled her very well but he said I need to get her some rabbit pellets? I have her on oxbow alfalfa (soon to be switched to Timothy). He said the rabbit pellets have vitamins in it that bunnies need & has other variety of food in it. I wanted to stay away from the food that has lots of other things in it, plus she ends up picking out what she likes best & kicks out what she doesn’t like.
So does anyone have any other ways to get her the vitamins? What about vitamin blocks? Anyone use them?
One added thing, I’m getting her spayed by this vet later this month, he spays/neuters about 3-4 a year & has not had a loss from the surgery so far. That was great to hear! They spay at $141
I’m so happy she didn’t fuss or anything, & Since it was her first visit, it was free! Only thing is they’re kinda far hehe.
