Okay so I have been letting the buns free roam my bedroom but I use an x-pen to block the under the bed area because I have a TV under there that I don’t want them to chew…plus I have bunny supplies under there too.  Anyways, this x-pen is taller than my bed and I want something I can put around my bed that I can easily move or open but is short enough so I can get into bed.  I usually put the bunnies away at night but sometimes I like to take naps and I can’t now because the bed is caged off.  LOL  What do you guys think?

I have some extra NIC grids but not enough to do the whole bed.  IDK what to do.

It may be quite unsightly but what I have done is got a really big cardboard box and dissembled it so it’s just one long strip of cardboard and cut it to size to block off the area, if need be you could attach it to the bed but in my room it’s wedged in using my bedside table and wardrobe. you could also paint it to make it look nicer x

Is there anyway that you can get more NIC grids? That is the only thing that I can think of that won’t cause you to have to jump on/off the bed because the x-pen is too tall.

we use nic cubes and they work great. I did zip tie it to one end of the metal frame but the other is unattached so we just pull it back to get over top of. Bunjamin tried messing with it but he’s accepted it’s staying and has moved on

Oh and remember if you use nic cubes, you can overlay them to fit the dimension of your bed, but the overlapping ones won’t fold as easy. (something I had to put a lot of blonde brain power into)

Are you trying to block off the top of your bed too? Or just the bottom part?

Just the bottom so they can’t get under it. Too much stuff they can get into under there. It’s like where I store things lol my room is the bunny room so it’s overrun with bunny everything!

I think I am going to buy my NIC grids and do it that way. Seems to be the easiest unless some one has a better idea? Lol.

i wish i could show you my magiver’d rabbit proofing but its a mixture of wood planks, thick blankets rolled up and carrpet squares for under my bed, it works tho she never attempts to try to get under now
i also rubbed a little vinigar on places she would try to crew etc, worked well for me, but i was scared she would pee in thos spots, i lucked out

and i cant find NIC grids, chacha mama tried to help me awhile ago but impossable to find were i live

I used a piece of wood to block the bottom of my bed. I used NIC cubes once but my bunnies yanked it out from around the bed. If you had the NIC cubes really tight in between the bed and a side table or something it might work better.
