  3 days ago we got the second bunny, friend for our Little Doll. I was concerned because of their age and temperament difference. Little Doll is an adult or senior spay female, and the new bunny is 3 m.o. male, not yet neutered but I will definately have him neutered ASAP if we decided for sure to keep him.
  
  The owners agreed they would take him back if things didnt work out. Although, they didnt sound too happy when they answered “yes”.
  
  I am still trying to decide if we should keep him or take him back. I posted a question and received mixed answers. Some people said it is OK, and others said adult male would be preferred. I do think that an adult male would probably be better, but that would mean returning the bunny back which I would hate to do.
  
  They seem to get along well. There are no signs of agression at all. They have been cuddling together, nudging each other and slightly grooming. Does this mean that Little Doll likes him or not necessary. He does binkies non stop, but it is hard to tell with her if she is happy or not. He moves around more than she does, but he doesnt seem to come up to her and bother her. She acts pretty much the same which is sitting in her corner litter and hay box. Yesterday they both stretched out and laid side by side.

  Oh, they look so cute together. From the photos, they do seem to be doing well. How do you think Little Doll is responding to him? He looks like a New Zealand white and they generally have very good temperaments.
  
  I do think generally that an older gentlemen would be good, but that is not always the case – it’s just a general rule of thumb. He looks like he’s quite content and happy with her.

  Cuteee! He looks like he really loves her and from the pictures Little Doll looks quite content with him too.

  Those are really good signs considering you only brought him home 3 days ago. They both seem so content. He looks like he’s madly in love with her.
  
  As long as Little Doll seems content and not stressed out, I would keep him. Make sure that their area is plenty big enough that if she wants some alone time, she can go somewhere to get away from him.
  
  Have they been together non-stop or were these pictures taken during a bonding session?

  If they are getting along pretty well now, I would just take the plunge and get him neutered and keep him. Especially if you like him. I know for me, I can’t take possession of an animal and then give him/her back (this is why I’d be a foster failure). It sounds like you’re happy and getting attached to him. You are putting so much thought into how SHE feels and if SHE is happy, and the truth is, you’re not necessarily going to know that. If YOU like him, keep him. The rest will fall into place.

  Ditto Beka. It’s hard to be 100% sure when he’s still a baby and hasn’t been through puberty/adolescence, but things look really good from your pictures and if you think he fits in well with your family, it will work out.

  Looks like a success to me! You’re very fortunate, some people take weeks to get to the stage that you appear to have reached.
  
  When I bonded my buns, I was prepared for a very long process, and they hit it off after literally a half hour of trying to mount one another and determining who was boss. But that was after a day of sitting in separate cages beside one another.

  Aww they look sooo sweet! He is so smitten with Little Doll and it just makes me feel warm and cuddly all over! hehe I would definitely keep him, especially if Little Doll is not bothered by having him around. It can be very hard to bond 2 buns and that is amazing for only having him 3 days. They are so precious together! Just beware that durring the “teenage” stage he will completely do a 180 on you. lol My bun was angelic one day and the next day I swore some alien came and zapped my Toby and replaced him with a clone freak. lol She may not like him then, but if he gets fixed it will settle down his hormones and they should be great together. Congrats on your cute little couple!
