  Today I was on Facebook and saw ‘PetPardons’ (a page) post about a shelter that burned dogs alive
  
  The shelter is located in Fairfield ,Ohio. I am dissapointed in Ohio, I live here…
  
  I am sick of all this sad animal news and I am even thinking about deleting my facebook. I am bipolar and don’t need any extra stress.
  
  I just feel like crying and find that this is the only place i can comfortably post about this subject…
  
  My question is……. How can I help and stop this. I’m not 18 years old yet (years from it) and can’t do a whole lot (like in court and such) but i want to try to help. Any comforting thoughts are appreciated.
  
  I feel if we all take a stand against things like this we might be able to help stop it.
  
  Comment any ideas below. That means all of you, well, if you want to help take a stand..

  Omg that is so sad. You can contact the ASPCA or local animal police. That is just awful, I don’t understand how anyone could do that. It needs to end.

  If possible get a screenshot of the webpage in case it’s taken down before a proper inquiry can be completed. It can be used as evidence.
  I hope you can find an agency who can help you. If you are worried about your age being a factor in being taken seriously ask an adult who knows you if they’d like to help.

  Also, start a petition on change.org, get it circulated around Facebook and other social networks.

  They’ve already begun many measures to get the town to stop gassing the dogs and HSUS is aware of this.

  The best thing that anyone can do to help reduce the number of animals at shelters is:
  
  1. Spay/neuter
  2. Be a responsible pet owner and there are too many things to list on what that takes.
  
  Shelters have limited resources and it needs to start with people taking care of their own animals and the US has a very LONG way to go on this.

  How awful. It saddens me so much to hear of atrocities like this. It’s illegal for a single person to do cruel things to animals but shelters, slaughterhouses, etc are able to do horrific things within the law. Animals lives are worth as much as our own.
