Been trying to teach Wolfie to “spin” since I got her. I think she’s about 8-10 weeks old now? She did it on the 2nd day but I had to do the action with my hand and the food in it lol now she sort of does it but then gets distracted or does it when I don’t tell her to and expects a treat. For her treats I either give her some of the food mix crushed up the breeder gave me or her pellets. SOO CUTE! ![]()
Ohhhhh. I want to steal Wolfie!!!! My goodness, she is precious!
I’ve not tried teaching my bunny to do any tricks, but I’ve done a little bit of clicker training with my dog, and he is the same way as Wolfie: anticipating the treat simply by doing a trick for it when I haven’t asked him to do anything!
I NEED TO GET A CLICKER!
How precious. She’s going to be such a smart bun since she’s already learned so much at her age!
And I want to steal her too *breaks out blueprints and shows to Silly Sungura*
This is so cute!! My auntie is going to give me a clicker and I’m definitely going to teach Belle spin. She kind of does up but only if you hold something above her head and say it ![]()
=D It was pretty easy for the spin but that’s the only thing I’ve got so far. You just have to let her follow the treat around and then start doing the spin action with your hand and then keep saying it at her holding the treat until she does the right thing and click+treat her hahaha.
Although, I dunno if the clicker actually does anything but I use it anyways! She can do this tricks but litter training is a nightmare! She gets most of her poops into her litter tray and pees there (most of the time) but when she’s out her cage she goes wild! She’s even done her cecal poops on the floor got distracted, forgot about them then ran back to them and eaten them.. is that even normal 😐
I have been teaching her a new trick called “poopy” to help with litter training. She has to run back to her litter tray and I give her a treat. She sometimes does it but is more interested in jumping on my lap and climbing up to get her treat! I’ll post a vid of that one later!
haha well she’s young. Give her time. That’s one of the biggest reasons I was impressed was because of her age. I couldn’t get Bunjamin to do anything I wanted until 5 months. He really got better with the litter box over time. And then the neuter made it so he didn’t poop everywhere anymore. He only leaves one maybe 2 in his favorite places to mark them as his. It’s intentional too because whenever I clean it up, hour later there’s another one in that same spot. lol
This is me trying to teach her “poopoo”. She gets it better second time a little bit more but I have to point where she has to go still. I initially called it “poopy” so I think she either isn’t listening and just following hand actions or just knows the sound of my “DO SOMETHING AND THEN I’LL GIVE YOU YOUR FOOD” tone of voice hahahaha
This is wolfie doing spin and up on a box hahaha
Wolfie is so tiny! I have a mini lop (uk kind) too and she is massive compared to wolfie, even when I got her at 8 weeks and she’s not as fluffy either. Wolfie is just the cutest little thing!!
SHE’s SO SMART! AND CUTE!
I think either you should come train Bunjamin or I may be making bunapping plans ![]()
So many head explosions!
Awwww! You’re killing me with all this cuteness!!! I think I will sit here most of the day and watch Wolfie doing her little tricks. ![]()

My husband watched the first video last night, and he loves her as much as I do; we were talking about how cute she is when we went to bed last night. Such a little smarty you have, and she couldn’t be any sweeter.
And Frankie Flash, Bunjamin has been on my “to steal” list for a long time, too.
Wolfie is in London, Bunjamin is closer. Just so ya know…
hehehe silly! uh oh! I’m going to have to watch for you!
This has inspired me to go get a clicker and get started. Bunjamin has 10 months of catching up to do.
Aw thanks guys !! To be honest I don’t even think she’s 8 weeks? She’s double the size she was when I got her 2 weeks ago though! But she was seriously tiny back then and now she’s more of a normal size.. her parents weren’t small either they looked like really big mini lops so she’ll probably get really big in a few more months. And she’s extra fluffy because her mum might be part lionhead. She has a bit of a mane that I brush backwards hahah ^__^
I’m trying to think of more tricks to teach her. “Paw” has been literally impossible. She lets me hold her hand but licks me non stop whilst I hold it and doesn’t pay any attention ahhaa. Could try a hoop =O
Where did you get her and why did the person give you her so young?
That explains the fluffyness – I thought I’d been robbed of a fluffy bunny for a minute
.
Hahahaha >.<
I got her from a breeder in Swanley UK. I have no idea =( I didn’t know she was that young I did think she looked a bit small? I still don’t know how old she is exactly the vet I went to was just like she’s a smaller dwarf breed so she would be quite small at 8 weeks ¬¬
Oh my goodness. I’ve never heard of a bun being seperated from her momma that young.
Poor Wolfie. Good thing she has you. Oh and I’m definitely seeing lionhead in there. ![]()
She’s getting bigger by the minute! I went for a check up when I first got her might go back as it’s been 2/3 weeks and she will need her jabs soon as she might be nearly 10 weeks old (by guess)
I taught Wolfie a new trick! I saw another bunny mummy on the forums.. might have been mimzy? Doing a “paw” trick! It took me a few days to teach Wolfie since this one was so hard but she got there in the end. So proud of her clever lil fluffball self!
Heres the video ![]()
Yay, Wolfie! I am so glad she has you; she is getting so much enrichment and love.
These are so cute!! I want to teach mimzy now! Just adorable, great vids!
OMG this is not helping my bun-napping issues!
I was giggling like a school girl all through this. Just that cute little face and how well she learns its just AHHH *head explosion*

I know! I sat here clapping for her and laughing, probably with a ridiculous, HUGE grin on my face.
Wolfie is so bright and such a little doll! I can’t believe she masters these things so fast! She’s a cutie pie genius.
Awww guys hahahaa you guys are jokers >.<
I didn’t actually think she would respond she isn’t even litter trained yet!! She’s amazing!! Better than my mates crazy dogs I love her so much
Shows how much food can encourage bunnys rofl. Greedy buns will forever do anything to get food haha!!!
wow! amasing
on a side now is it sad when you said Clever girl i thought of Jurassic park?

I thought since she’s so receptive I’d teach her another trick. Low and behold she got it in a few tries but isn’t perfect on it! She can put a cut up toilet roll tube into a box!! Incredible I feel mean treating her like a circus animal but it’s just so fun teaching her and she seems to like doing it.. especially for her pellets hahah >.<

You’re not being mean at all! It’s a good way of bonding with her. She’s so smart, and rabbits, in general, are just so intelligent to begin with, the mental stimulation Wolfie is getting is so good for her. You are awesome! I can’t wait to see what more Wolfie can accomplish.
=) she knows what the clicker is as soon as I grab it shes like “OMGADDD TREATS TREATSS TREAT TIME!” and runs all over me and licks me and stands up and begs hahaha.
I taught her to put a lil cardboard tube thing in a box! She sometimes fetches it back to me too and puts it in my hand >.<
HOW did you train her to do that?! She is just the cutest little bun ever!!
I agree with sungura – I think it’s great what you’re doing.
Wolfie is going to be the smartest rabbit on here. Especially with her head start. Or at least the smartest rabbit on command. lol
I think if she didn’t want to do it, she’d walk away like Bunjamin does to me. Or nose bumps telling my hand to beat it.
Yay hahaha. Typical chinese I am… MUST DO HOMEWORK MUST GET A* hahaha just kidding
=D From “put it in the box” she knows how to fetch now so been playing fetch with her on off all day so dayymm caayuteeee my fluffy fuzzballl eeeeeeee!!!!
OMG WOLFIE IS SOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!
