My mom went to England to visit our family and she saw a lot of wild buns. A lot of them were big and she saw a little baby one too! Here’s a pic:

I wish there were wild bunnies in Florida

I have lots of wild bunnies where I live.

Are you sure there aren’t any wild bunnies in Florida? I imagine they have to be, they are everywhere.

            Cute picture.

There ARE wild bunnies in FL. I live here, and see them at:
nature walk preserves. There are 2 near where I live that are supported by the county water department where they have set aside land for a park-like area with a walkway and land arranged for local wildlife such as turtles, alligators, and birds of all kinds. At times you can see several wild brown bunnies grazing, usually in the early morning and when there are no birds of prey flying over head.

Also, two friends live in community neighborhoods where some wild brown bunnies have been born and live there. I saw one in my friend’s yard under a flowering tree, and it was eating the fallen petals. Once they are in a neighborhood, they tend to be numerous until a prey animal finds them, so they aren’t very old generally.

This little guy was right outside my Mother’s front door last year. This is typical of a brown FL wild bunny.

we have TOO MANY wild bunnies here in Delaware. All of their natural predators are dying out because of all the building.

=] We have wild rabbits. Just not in the cities of course. If you head about an hour or so from Tampa into the Dade City, Brooksville area you will find quite a few. I live in a bird sanctuary and tere are quite a few buns who live in my yard. I fear though our new gator inhabitants of the pond/lake that is behind the house has scared them off since I have’t seen them in a while. =[

Wow, I knew there were some wild FL bunnies, but I didn’t think there were a lot. I’ve never seen them, but it’s probably because I live in such a suburban development.
