  Hi all! My dad works at Busch Gardens in here in FL and he’s been telling me that there are SO many wild bunnies around the park. He has a suspicion the BG people may be leaving food out for them so the guests can see cute little buns. I just hope they’re all ok and aren’t stressed. I guess it’s better they’re at BG than the neighborhood next to it – in which they would deff shoot buns
  
  Also, I visited the park today and they have a small animal center where they house baby, wild, and under care animals. There was a HUGE Flemish Giant named LooLoo just lounging there! She was behind glass, so I couldn’t touch her. She looked very happy. She had a huge area and tons of hay Tomorrow I’m going back and I’m going to ask my dad to see if he can use his “connections” to get someone who works there let us visit with LooLoo, as well as some of the other animals they have there – a fox and a Bush Baby, to name a couple! I’m very excited! I really want to meet with this LooLoo; she’s gorgeous and I will take pics!

  Hi Belle, I think the wild buns will be OK… Sadly with wild animals they are at the mercy of fate and the ones inside BG have obviously got it good. If you let it pray on your mind it will drive you crazy. I have a friend the regularly hunts and eats wild rabbits. I can’t tell him not to, its how he was raised and it is his lifestyle to forage and hunt to supplement their food etc. In return he respects the fact that I love my house bunnies and never makes off colour remarks about eating them (unlike some of the people that have never hunted or fished for food and think steak and chops come from a supermarket freezer).
  So be happy that there are some spoiled wild buns out there that are safe and loved in their environment.
  Hopefully you will get to visit Looloo we will all be expecting photos BTW.

  Youre lucky you have connections there and can go all the time! I went to BG a few years ago and had so much fun! I loved meeting the Budweiser Clydesdales and there was this little orphan opossum I fell in love with! Loved the ancient egyptian store too.
  
  There wasn’t any bunnies when I went. I wouldn’t worry too much about the wild buns. They are wild animals and can fend for themselves despite how cute and cuddly they look.

  I honestly don’t think that there’s anything to worry about with the rabbits. =] I’ve seen visitors trying to feed the bunnies. =[ But they really don’t go near them. And they honestly don’t show themselves unless it’s cooler weather or sometimes you spot one at night running around during their Summer Nights. I think they’re okay though. =] The people who take care of the animals at BG are really caring and wouldn’t do anything irresponsible to hurt the rabbits.
  
  BTW @bellemarie Who’s your vet? I’ve been trying to find one down in the Tampa like crazy mad to get my bun fixed.

  I go to Pebble Creek Animal Hospital – it’s around Wesley Chapel. They have a vet there who is VERY experienced with buns! They’ve helped me out greatly, like when Peter was bitten by red ants They’re great.

  YES! I was looking into there and got really strong vibes about sending my bun there. I had seen some reviews for them on the Internet and all were real positive. You just totally confirmed me wanting to send my bun there. =] Thanks so much Bellemarie! =]
