Arduina is a superbun.. she jumped from the ground up onto a 2.5ft (30in) bin!  The xpen is that high too. The other day the green bin (stacked on top of the blue med carrier) was closer to the corner and she was able to then hop over to the other side of the xpen.  I had to make some rearrangements.  But I’m shocked she can still jump from the ground up there with no assistance.  She knows where we keep the food .

She’s never tried to jump over the xpen unassisted, I think she knows she could get hurt.. but maybe I need to get the 3ft one? The thing is, as you can see its in our living room and to get from the bedroom to the rest of the apartment you have to go through the gate and over the pen.  Even I can’t get over a pen that high (and xpen doors are kinda annoying to be doing it numerous times a day).

Maybe its that titanium pin in her front left leg (from when she broke it about 3 yrs ago).  The vet/surgeon did an amazing job and I think she healed better than normal.  I wish she would take it easier though.. but no, she’s a daredevil.

Crazy bunny! Shes a Rex, right? My Mini-Rex is a total daredevil too.

I gave up on gates and pens when it comes to Pacey. I think that rabbit has springs for legs he can clear a 4ft gate easily. I have to block off things he can jump onto like my counters (which he used to use to get on top of the refrigerator) and my bookshelves.

Yeah, Arduina is a std rex (with a little bit of dutch in her).

Sonn, Oh My, up on the refrigerator?! That’s one brave bun! I can’t believe it, fridges are so slippery too. I’m glad Arduina doesn’t have the guts for that, she’d get into EVERYTHING then. That’s one of the many reasons I like bunnies, unlike cats, they can’t jump up on the counters (I guess usually!).
