  Don’t get me wrong The House Rabbit Society are AMAZING with volumes of useful and helpful information but when I found this I had OOps litter flash backs. “neutered before being put back with the mother because she can conceive again immediately after giving birth. They should be kept separate for a minimum of two weeks after neutering”.
  
  Its OK to put boy bunny back with girl bunny only two weeks after the OP… No it isn’t. I have emailed them and I know that they will amend the error but in the interim if you are directing anyone to the site for this sort of information please warn them..
  
  A month, one whole month and a day or two more to be sure…. Little buggers can keep a live round in the chamber for over a month. You would have to be damned unlucky for them to conceive after the 30 day period but I’m sure its happened to someone.
  
  Two weeks is not even close to being long enough to separate after neutering!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  CochinBrahamaLover – This thread is over a year old. We ask that people not bump old threads as it can cause some confusion. This particular error on the HRS (House Rabbit Society) website has been corrected and now advises that males be kept away from intact females for at least 30 days after neutering.
