I was nervous at first, but I have been letting Molly have free run of the room from the time I get home in the evening from the time I go to work the next morning. My room is bunny-proof (after so many months of learning the hard way) so she isn’t going to get into anything that could harm her. I feel bad because I work 8 hours a day and then have so much other stuff going on that I didn’t feel like she was getting enough run around time. This way she has half her day out of her pen, and she seems much happier. Also, I used to keep her blocked off from getting under my bed, but I have given up, because no matter what I do, she seems to find a way under there. So I just let her go under there now. Again, nothing is under there that could harm her, and she doesn’t dig at my carpet or the underside of my mattress, and suprisingly doesn’t even poop under there. She likes it too because the air vent is partly under my bed so she likes to lay there when its hot. All in all, this set up is working great so far, and she seems to be a much happier bunny. I know she is saying in her bunny language, “See mom? Why didn’t you let me have my way a LONG TIME AGO?? I told you I was right! Things are easier when its done MY WAY!”
Any opinions on this? Do you think its ok for her to have free roam at night? With my room being safe and all, I think its fine. What about under the bed? She isn’t hurting anything under there, she just likes it a lot.
