  Update: Beau and Sully have been so easy to bond so far that I have been wondering if I am doing it right. lol
  
  Sully is definetly the alfa bunny and demands grooms from Beau constantly, which he happily provides. Sully was not returning grooms which I have heard is normal, but I was a bit concerned bc I want to make sure they are really bonding before we go to the next step.
  
  I was so excited bc I caught Sully grooming Beau twice this week when she thought I couldn’t see her. lol Then when she realized I saw her she gave me that “excuse me, privacy please…” glare lol.
  
  Do your bunnies ever groom in private?
  
  This is a good sign….(Beau left, Sully right)
  
  Just brought Beau home yesterday and he is the sweetest boy ever! It was love at first sight for Beau and Sully seems to like him back but has been pretending to ignore him. Beau we think will be easy, Sully we are a bit more cautious of bc she can be territorial. Since Beau has been home Sully is much more engaged which I think is wonderful (she has been a bit anti social lately.) She sat down next to Beaus cage today and started grooming herself and then the both plopped down together! I am so excited! I am going to give them some more time before I put them together in neutral territory but what do you guys think?

  Very cute!! It’s really tough to tell if they’ll be good together by how they act through the cage bars, but at least it makes your life easier that Sully isn’t attacking the cage and being territorial. Any poop wars? Mine left a couple poops near the cage barrier (they were right next to each other) but they were good. I’ve heard horror stories though of litter habits completely disappearing.

  Is this Beau’s akward way of trying to groom Sully? Before this the bonding dates consisted of Beau mounting Sully repeatedly, Sully allowing it for a little while then telling him to back off.

  Actually, it looks more like he’s requesting licks and maybe thinking of mounting her to me. Has there been any true licking?

  Its hard for me to tell, He does this thing where it looks like he is trying to akwardly groom her and he does it really fast. Its like he is trying to groom her as fast as possible and maybe she will let him mount……?
