Yeah. It’s a great thing! Only if you have enough time to have a third bun for a short period of time. And. Make sure this rabbit has no special needs or care, if it does you will need to learn about how to care for the special needs bun. Good luck and keep us posted!!

Only thing would be if you don’t have space for him, or mind if your two lose their litter habits while he’s in the house (even if you don’t let them see him, they may still smell him and begin marking). Also, make sure you decide on rules as to vet care, emergency care, etc. If you can’t reach them, do they agree for vet care and will pay you back whatever the cost was? Things like that.

If you bring a new bunny into your house be careful to keep all the stuff separate from your own buns and wash your hands carefully between handling bunnies. This is for 2 reasons: Some bunnies, even those that look perfectly healthy can be carriers of diseases. And, if you try to handle a bunny, while smelling strongly of another strange bunny, there might be aggression. I would make sure to have some antibacterial soap on hand.

But if you’re careful, there shouldn’t be a problem. I ditto Stickerbunny, make sure to make emergency arrangements ahead of time. You don’t want to get stuck with a vet bill.

I bunny sit all the time and have no problems at all with litter problems or health problems with my other rabbits.
