I am now down to two babies who are 10 weeks old today. Both girls, Pipi and Blossom. If they do not get adopted I will be keeping them as there is room in the bunny bungalow for 4 bunnies to move freely (but will add additional space soon) Play time is taken in the sunroom around the bungalow where they have quite a large area to play in complete with upholstered day bed.
So far no aggression even if there is a bit of humping going on. Pepper Mummy is an alpha bun and poor Piglet gets a good head humping on a regular basis but he handles it with tolerance. He’s fixed now and has been for several months. (Yes, they are definitely girls. Had them checked by someone with a very good reputation and even I could see the difference when it was pointed out)
Pepper is due to go in next Friday but I am not going to have the money for another three weeks and will have to post pone.
I will get Blossom and Pipi done as soon as they are old enough. Which brings me to part of the question.
Firstly how soon would I see any aggression if there was going to be any between the girls and how soon can I get Pipi and Blossom done. I have a small spare hutch and extra Xpen frames for the recuperation period. All is situated in my sunroom living area which is indoors.
Worst case scenario someone can move into the spare hutch and I can block off the levels of the bunny bungalow to provide two seperate living areas but I hope I won’t need to separate them as they are all still very close and snuggle together.
