I have been wondering if maybe a second rabbit would be beneficial to Momo. We now have the space for one, and if I adopt a fixed adult, then that cost and developmental period is taken out of the equation. As cute as baby buns are, I think going though that varitable hell with Momo was enough for me to never want another baby rabbit again.
What I am looking for is info, and lots of it from experienced owners of multiple bonded buns. Should I go with a buck, or another doe? What should I look out for? Is it that much more expensive to feed two instead of one? Any sort of pro or con you can think of would be great.
I will give you some info on Momo, incase you need it.
Name: Momo The Destroyer
Age: about 16 months
Weight: 6ish pounds
Fixed: Oh heck yes
Energy Level: Through the roof
Affection Level: Non-existant most of the time
Cage Size: Huge, as in an entire X-Pen completel with large hidey house, diggy box, and several toys that she ignores
Likes: Causing trouble, craisins, destroying, re-decorating, eating, cilantro, bell peppers, Seven the Cat, beating up the dog, digging, my sisters boyfriend, and zooming around like a wild woman
Dislikes: Being held, too many pets, the brush, her mom.
Thanks!
