I just went through and organized Wilbur and Totoro’s records today and decided to read through Totoro’s from when he was the at humane society. I found out two things that I didn’t know before 1. he had worms and was treated with panacur 2. he had an upper respiratory infection and was given baytril for a couple weeks. Poor guy! Emaciated, lethargic, dehydrated, covered in ticks, two bott flies in his neck cutting off his airway, AND an upper respiratory infection and worms??? What a tough little bunny. So my question is: if a rabbit has had an upper respiratory infection before does that make it more likely that it will reoccur? Also, could he pass one onto Wilbur? I have heard that upper respiratory infections can be hard to detect sometimes and I just want to know if I should be on an extra look out for them. If anyone has like a good website page on upper respiratory infections could you please give me the link so I could read up on them?
Thanks!
