I have made a recent post about the bunnies setup for the house we are going to build. But I now have a problem. I just found out we are putting our house up for sale in 2 weeks If it sells before our house is built we will have to live with either my Grandparents or my Uncle for a few months. If our house sells when it is still winter, we would move into my Uncles apartment that is attached to his house. The thing is, their are no pets allowed. We would take our camper with and the cats would live in that but my mom said their wouldn’t be enough room in the camper for 5 cats AND the bunnies and they would have to go outside in the barn! If our house sells in the spring we would move up to my grandparents who live right next door to our future house. The cats would stay in the camper and the bunnies in my Grandparents garage! I wouldn’t care so much about the bunnies being in the garage because it has a heating system but it doesn’t have air conditioning. I really don’t want my bunnies outside!

It is possible that we could rent an apartment that allows animals but not sure if we can find one that has enough room for our family. If our house sells what should I do! Any ideas! What would you do in this situation?!?

Well, if it sells fast and its winter still, can you keep your bunnies in your grandparents heated garage for the winter? and visit often/daily?
The good news is that its not likely to happen that fast, my inlaws house sold in record time, and the whole process still took about 2 months. So that puts you closer to spring, which would be a better situation I think. Where you’re located, does it get really hot? There are ways to keep them cool, ceramic tiles to lay on, frozen water bottles, makeshift AC (a fan blowing over ice), and it is hopefully a short term solution right? Are your parents planning on building now? Or waiting until they sell the house?

They can’t live at my grandparents until we move up their because they my grandparents are 2 1/2 hours away. Just found out that if we move to my uncles we would ask to rent his house and see if he will stay in his attached apartment. He have had cats in their house before so he may let us take our animals. It is most likely our house wouldn’t sell until spring. Its not very hot in Northern Wisconsin. It averages from 70F to 85F depending on the summer. The bunnies will be fine, they have gone up to our land for 2 summers without air (Our trailer house didn’t have air) I did a lot of fans and ice blocks.
