After months of looking I am finally getting a rabbit. It is a spayed female Lionhead. I never thought that I would want a Lionhead but she is so cute that I fell in love when I saw her picture. I am going to meet them and the rabbit tomorrow. I am so happy right now. Lots of pictures to come after I get her.

I got the rabbit at 4pm and I already love her so much. She is so friendly and is fine with the cats. The lady I got her from got her for her kid a couple of months ago but the kid lost interest. They kept it outside but they got it from someone who kept it as a house rabbit so she was litter trained before. I am hoping that that means that it will be easy to get her to use the litter box again. They said that she is only a year old. She is really skinny and I can see her spine and hips and fill her ribs. She seems really healthy though. I had her locked in her pen for about a hour but she was acting fine so I am letting her have the run of the room and so far she has not left poop any were outside of her pen. She will jump up on my bed and get on my lap to get petted. She loves to sit on the log that I have for my cats. Here are some pictures of her

                            Aw what a cute one.

And good on you for taking her in!  I can’t imagine a house bunny being put outside, poor thing.  I’m sure she’s super glad to be back inside!!!

Congrats! She’s so adorable! Looks just like a little teddy bear!

It’s awful how a child can “lose interest” in such a cute little critter.

oh my goodness, look how cute and fuzzly she is! What will you name her? I bet she is glad to have new warm and cozy home and I hope she fills out – so sad if she wasnt being fed properly.
