Got to thinking about making my own rabbit treats.  Dug out my husbands dehydrator and sliced up some apples and pears and next day I had dryed treats. My question ???? are they better, worse or the same as before dried from my girls. ??  I ate some and they were really good but sweeter than before dried.

The sugar content in dried fruit is more concentrated than fresh, so smaller amounts to avoid too much sugar. Also, certain nutrients get lost when the moisture is gone, but they are still healthy treats.
