I know many of you use coroplast for your bunny condos and I’m building a bunny condo in the bunny room (well walk in closet) but I plan on using whatever flooring I use for the condo in the whole room. So my question to you is have you ever walked on the coroplast? If so, was it on top of carpet (mine will be)? I’m an above-average sized woman and I don’t want it to break if we walk on it (we will still be using part of the closet- the upper half).

I currently have sheet vinyl in there and it moves when us hoomans walk on it. So I need something that stays still.

        Thanks in advance!

I’ve knelt on coloplast and it just buckled underneath. (I’m not an extremely heavy person either.) I’m not sure what else to suggest, someone else might be able to though.

What about this stuff? You can buy it at your local hardware store for fairly cheap http://www.rubberflooringinc.com/garage/ribbed-rolls.html

I might have to wait until I get my computer to look at your link S&L seeing as how I can’t get my phone to copy paste but I’m excited if it is a good alternative. I was thinking I was going have to pay a bunch of money and get computer chair mats

thanks S&L! Me and boyfriend are pricing it out, and figuring out the details and stuff to see if it’d work!

I would want a flat surface, as opposed to the ridges on that stuff – rubber is sooooo tempting to rabbits to chew. Get vinyl carpet protectors or linoleum, make it flat and make sure they can’t get to the edges of it to chew.

Someone here ( I think a mod) uses it with great success. I’ll look for the thread…

Its Kokaneeandkahlua’s bunny room I love it, if I had a spare bedroom I’d totally do this!

stickerbunny that thought did occur to me too.
S&L- I read the thread and she said it’s soft. I think I’ll go to Home Depot and look at it myself. Bunjamin can’t have carpet or blankets even because he eats anything cloth-like. Although he is getting fixed soon so hopefully that’ll calm down and he can have soft cushy things for his feets!
