So I have had Blossom for a little over two months now.  (omg it feels like I have had her forever!) and I realized how she has her own routine.  She gets all excited when i come down becasue she knows I freshing up her hay and food,  She will do a few binkies and then she is off to her spot on the shelf under the console tv. (Yes I still own a console tv!!)  She will stay there all day and then gets active around 7 again and thats when she will let us pat her and comes to us and pushes our feet with her nose,  By the way what does that mean when she is doing that.  Does she want attention or is she marking her teritory?  Then after 10 she becomes the destructive bunny!!  When I come down stairs in the morning the family room is torn apart!!  I notcied she started to pull the fringes off my rug so now I have to cut them all off so she wont eat them!!  Anyone elses bunny have the same routine everyday?

My bunnies have a really strict daily routine and messing with it is a bad idea!

They wake up at about 5am and waiting impatiently for me to get out of bed at 6am. They bang stuff, shake theire fence and thump if they get bored of waiting 🙂 Then it’s binky and bunny500 time before settling down under the couch for a nap. They’re basically asleep until 5pm, when the warm up to a 6pm dinner begins, petting time, then bed at 10pm.

It’s so funny how much bunnies love routine!

Bunnies definitely get into routines. Mine get fed at 6:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. and they are fully aware when it’s time. First they will both start staring at me when I’m still in bed, then when I get up they’ll be at my ankles.

When bunnies nudge it sort of means like “hey, pay attention to me!” or “pet me!”

My bunnies have a very strict routine and if I stray from it there is little bunny chaos!!! I’m a bit obsessive with their schedule. They eat breakfast around 7:30 am, then they have run-time. Olivia goes first (as soon as she’s done breakfast she’s waiting at the door) and then the boys. Supper always at 6:00 and then run time again later in the evening. They get lettuce and hay before bed. If I have to go out and they don’t get their normal run-time I come home to a giant mess in the bunny room.

Mine have a routine as well, though I am not a person of habit, so I am not that strict with mine, much to their displeasure. lol They have their own room, which they are loath to leave until about 5pm so that is when they get let out (do not disturb their sleep or you shall paaaay!), then they do running around / binkies / eat their floor hay (I keep a pile of hay in the living room floor for them, else they eat the carpet and it apparently tastes SO much better than the hay in their room even though it’s often taken from their hay box). Then they get their salad around 7 and then it’s flop out time til around 8, then it’s run around zoomie time. At 9:30ish they get dinner and put back in their room for bedtime and Powder grooms Stickers (though she won’t return the favor). On the weekends they get to stay up later and they love it and do lots of extra binkies to show their pleasure at humans staying up past midnight.

During the night / early in the morning they play in their room, but not sure exactly how active they are or for how long, I am not a morning person – I can hear their little paper tunnels and stuff crinkling though.

MY routine for Lolli is – bye bye treats and a scoop of pellets before I leave for work. When I get home at 8:30, hello treats and lettuce. Then I go get my supper and come down and let her out of her pen in her room while I eat and watch stuff on netflix until about 10-10:30. She does get a bit diva-ish if I’m late and don’t get home. lol

I’m sure HER routine is completely different. If I stay up late, I’ve heard her chewing on her box well into the night. Also in the very early morning. She tends to sleep all day and is most active at night which is completely normal for rabbits.

Lolli is more relaxed about schedules than Eddie was. He got completely pissy if I was late or anything. Also, when they were free in my apartment, he had to make his rounds of my apartment every couple of hours. It was quite odd and almost like clockwork. LOL
