I share the majority of the magazines with my mom once I’m done reading them and she passes them on.

        I get the following subscriptions:

        Cooks Illustrated

        Cooks Country

        HGTV Magazine

Allure (also on Nook and it’s free)

        Real Food by Martha Stewart

        Martha Stewart Living

Real Simple (also on Nook and it’s free)

        Food Network Magazine

I just signed up on my Nook Tablet for:

        Saveur

        Food & Wine

        Bon Appetit

        Everyday with Rachael Ray

        Dwell

        Cooking with Paula Dean

That’s a ton of subscriptions! I sometimes don’t read the magazines I do get cover to cover, though they’re awesome for exercising because I like having something to read.

I currently get Wine Spectator for myself.
I also get Bon Appetit and Consumer Reports from my parents – they get a free subscription with their own paid subscription, and I’m happy to get them for free.

I’m tempted to get something decorating/home related, but I’m not sure I’d get around to reading it (or what the best one would be to get).

I loooove New York magazine when I can get it, like at doctor’s offices. My gym used to bring issues in and reading some in depth article on something random (they have everything from entertainment to pieces on Rupert Murdoch) helped keep my mind off of working out. I’ve never had a subscription to it though.

I’ve read Reader’s Digest since I was a teenager. I have a subscription now through Special Olympics, so they get a percentage of that.

The only other magazine I get is Rolling Stone, not including a variety of Dental Hygiene related mags…

I pretty much only read horsey and craftie mags. I have a subscription to Horse Illustrated and Atlantic Horse and Pony and buy Cross Stitch Crazy and Craftseller every month which are really cool UK mags. And every February I buy Rabbits USA. Why can’t there be a monthly or bi-monthly bunny mag? Ferrets and birds get one but not bunnies! Just slap 50 bunny pics in a magazine and I will buy it!

                      Wow, that is a lot!

Only thing I really read is gaming magazines, but those are mostly available online… sometimes I might grab a PC world.

LPT, have you read Practical Horseman? I used to get all sorts of horsie mags when I was younger and I loved that one. I stopped getting it because I made me sad that I didn’t have a horse of my own 🙁 Someday when I lease a horse I’ll definitely get it again!

I’m a cosmo girl. But I don’t usually get subscriptions unless they’re on sale. Like I got a year of cosmopolitan for $5 from amazon. And for some reason I’m still getting seventeen (it started off as a gift from like 3 years ago).

Mental Floss is a quirky science/philosophy/psychology magazine. It is a lot of fun to read but I kind of feel like it is a novelty item… like word-of-the-day toilet paper… Im not selling it here, am I?…. It’s a lot of fun. Its witty and entertaining. http://www.mentalfloss.com/
They also have some great tshirts that crack me up… if I had any extra money right now, that would be the third place I would order clothing from… the first being disapproving rabbits (I LOVE that logo) and the second being the sleepy rabbit (I need new fingerless gloves)…

Yes, I’ve bought that one before. I buy random ones if I see an article that pertains to me or my horse. Some of the UK horse mags are wonderful but really expensive.
