Is your bun spayed? If not she could be experiencing a false pregnancy, and she’s pulling her hair out to make a nest. Although there’s no buck around, there are some situations where they could still have a false pregnancy. Do you see a pile of fluff anywhere?

Has she been grabbing things and moving them around to a certain spot in her cage / area? Hay hoarding, grabbing anything cloth, etc etc – it does sound like she’s pulling fur out as a false pregnancy, but if that is the case it means she’s almost through with it since fur pulling is the last thing they do. If she is spayed, I would call the vet and talk to them since false pregnancy is less likely in that case.

It just very likely could be that she is shedding and it’s part of the shedding pattern.

I will have to say with teeth however, that there may be no signs as far as drooling or wet chin/mouth area, etc…to indicate molar spurs. Sometimes there may be no sign whatsoever. Did the vet take a good look at the teeth at that time?

My bun was an American Fuzzy Lop (really fuzzy and fluffy hair), during a big shed she would get a little bald spot right on the top of her head like a little old man going bald. She would also get the occasional spot on her chin as well, at first I was concerned but her vet had given her a full bill of health and sure enough within a few weeks new fuzz was sprouting from the bald spots. I don’t know if this is the case for your bun, but I thought it might be comforting to know that it has happened to someone else
