If it begins to get chilly, she may decide blankets are suddenly compfy. A hidey box can also help keep your bunny warm. Something as simple as a wood or cardboard box will help keep her body heat in. You can also get those snuggle safe discs – you warm it up in the microwave and then put it under blankets and it stays warm for about 8 hours. You just have to make sure you bunny can get away from the warmth if she gets too warm with the snuggle safe.
SO how cold will actually get inside? I know my neighbor will rarely put on their heat to save on bills — their place can get so cold during the chilliest of days that you can see your breath in their house. Sometimes she’ll ask to come and visit our house so she can get warmed up (or she’ll take a hot shower). They got a coat for their dog (as he has short hair), and they suffer through the coldest of days. So if you are a die-hard cold weather endurer like that, then the snuggle safe disc may be a good idea. ( you may want to use it for yourself!
