So I have tried the corrugate flexible tubing, the spiral plastic tubing, and pvc pipe. Clover has chewed through the first two, but not the pvc pipe. The problem I had with the pvc pipe is that it is heavy, and unless no wire was showing at all, she would chew through it. We had a few successful seasons of having a small fan in their for her, and then she moved the pvc piping one day and yep, chewed it. The spiral wrapping I tried today with a small heater for her room (room is open, so I like to put a small one in for her), upon advice of a friend who used to have rabbits. Well, Clover chewed that is an hour or less. My guess is the only thing I’m left with is the wire cube shelving which is what her house is made out of–of which she chewed the white coating off.
Has anyone else used any other products that deterred the chewing? I’ve tried many sprays with her in the past, and that made no difference. Though she has been lovely to train in tricks, she is quite persistent with this. She had plenty of things in her room to keep her occupied–cardboard, toys, chew sticks, etc.
Also, what are people using for wall trims. I’ve seen the plastic coverings for the corners, but she has chewed both the corners and the wall itself.
Thanks,
Dae & Clover
