So I know I’ve been totally MIA for a while. It’s been a crazy couple of months with moving and going to Hawai’i for my Granny’s funeral, Hurricane Irene and then I got a new job. I’m doing government relations for a new company and I’ve been so overwhelmed with the new job too as there is just so much to learn and catch up on. But Oreo has been wonderful through it all. She had a rough time with me being gone and then being scared of the hurricane and gave me enough attitude to last a whole year But she has totally taken over my apartment and gotten my roommates wrapped around her little paw too.

Anyway, Oreo did the silliest thing yesterday and I just had to share. I was lying on the floor hanging out with her and was eating a watermelon jolly rancher. I was talking to her (I’m crazy I know haha) and she must have smelled the watermelon on my breath and she went NUTS trying to figure out where it was coming from. Naturally the first place sniffed was my hand since that’s where I usually have her treats. But when she couldn’t figure it out she sniffed my whole face trying to find out how to get to the watermelon!! She was so confused haha. She even stuck her nose right up to my lips so I snuck in a little kiss Bunnies are so silly
