It’s still a work in progress, but they’re “helping” me set it up (as in, I clean one spot, they come in behind me to mess it up again ).  I am  nearly done, just need to clean out the closet in the room and set it up for their “den”, mainly remove the stuff they can chew since it was used as a storage space and put the doors back up on their sliders. Well… I leaned a baby gate we have in storage against the closet just to put it out of my way while I was doing something and well, you can see what Stickers thought of that.

The litter boxes are set up with a towel under them, then vinyl over the towel (the kind with teeth, it makes an awful noise when ripped up, they haven’t chewed it at all so it works) to make it water proof since they INSIST on going OUTSIDE the litter box, rather than inside about 70% of the time since their bond. *sigh*

After it’s all set up I will move the bird cage and the closet will be cleaned out, except a few old shirts of mine they like to use as beds. And their toys will be moved in.

Love the set up! I wish I had a room devoted to my bunnies. I have to share the bunnies room

Thanks They are little spoiled brats, but if you ask them, they’d say I don’t do enough for them (I get rabbitude a lot)

We had a larger room for them with carpet, but had to move them into the wood room because of the neighbors dog forcing us to move our bed to the living room. Can’t have bunnies in the next room with no door between rustling their paper tunnel and doing bunny 500s while trying to sleep! They seem to like it though. They’ve been in their new closet den all day and are there now snuggling on top of one of my old jackets.

Mine don’t lay in their litter box o.O I have that many because I am trying to get them to USE the litter box again lol they prefer getting right beside the litter box and going there, so I keep buying new ones and putting them in the area they pick then they just move over to right outside that box. *grumble*

                    Hahhaa oh gosh XD

I have a hay rack right outside the litter box. Chacha USED to eat from it and NEVER pooped.. but that is another story now. She’ll even get up on her hind legs to get the hay in the hay rack.. and poop at the same time. at least she associates hay with pooping ><!

lol I have the hay in the cardboard box in the giant blue plastic cage bottom litter box – but it’s not helping. They just jump in, eat the hay, then jump out and leave droppings all over the vinyl. If the vinyl isn’t there, it’s on the towels. If the towels aren’t there, it’s on the floor. Started when I bonded them, 22 days and counting now. I keep a bowl of vinegar water ready since I have to constantly clean it.

I’ve thought about covering the entire floor with litterboxes and then slowly removing one at a time haha. I don’t know how you’re dealing with it for over 3 weeks! Todays the first day that Lady hasn’t pee’d outside her box

lol I don’t work and it’s only in one area, so cleaning it isn’t too difficult. Just annoying. Yay for Lady!

Limit their space if they aren’t using the litter boxes. back to basics!
