What are you thankful for? Americans join in too, even though it’s a month early for you.

I’m thankful for my wonderful fiance who supports everything I do (even the Vegan Thanksgiving Supper I’ll be making tonight ), my family (especially my Mom, grandparents, my sister, 2 nieces and nephew), my sweet bunnies, cats and beautiful horse who add so much joy to my life, my two best friends who have been with me since high school, living in this beautiful country and all my wonderful online friends.

Needs to be a little bigger Mike and the end needs to split open like a flower. =p

I wish our Thanksgiving was right now. Gosh, that would be awesome. People would be spreading out their Christmas shopping over 2 months instead of 1. Do you have Black Friday in Canada?

Not really, as the Canadian Thanksgiving is on a Monday. At least, I never saw a huge fuss about it the entire time I lived there

Boxing Day sales, on the other hand…. never go outside on Boxing Day.

I guess I should have said “Black Tuesday”, hehe! So do stores open at 3am on Boxing Day then? People lined up at the door and stampeding into the store when the doors are unlocked?

Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends! I think having an October Thanksgiving would be awesome (though having it on a Monday – not so much unless I took off Tuesday).

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. What’s not to love about a holiday where you just eat yummy food all day?

LPT where did you find that adorable illustration?

Happy Thanksgiving, all our dear Canadian friends.

I think there’s a large percentage of members from Canada on BB – you guys are nice, just like your reputations. I am thankful to have you as my BB friends.

                      Happy Thanksgiving all!!!

We don’t have anything like black friday, even on boxing day-those are sales for a week and they aren’t that great and it’s not that busy. Realistically it’s pretty similar to any other Saturday in a mall (Except in south edmonton common…) BUT weird oh weird-we started having ‘black fridays’ up here!?! I saw ads for it last year-so we sort of started celebrating a shopping holiday-I guess. I’ve never heard of stores opening that early lol I don’t think we dig shopping that much

We had dinner with Dave’s mom last weekend and my parents are doing their’s in a few weeks so no thanksgiving dinner was had this weekend. We went to the Calgary zoo instead. And I am thankful for getting to see an adorable baby gorilla

Maybe I should move to Canada then! =p I hate Black Friday, but that’s because I have to work it! Haha! It’s just insane and people can be so grumpy that early in the morning after they waited in line for 30 minutes. You know, people have actually gotten killed by stampedes trying to get through the door. Not at my store, but it happened at Walmart. =O

Did you guys have a good Thanksgiving then? It sounds so relaxing there!

RabbitPam: I just did a Yahoo search: “Bunny Thanksgiving”.

We had a nice, quiet Thanksgiving here. We invited Ricky’s friend over since he has no family around here and was all alone. He actually liked my cooking!

I like that we have Thanksgiving in October instead of November. Spreads the holidays out a little more.
