I saw this guy on a humane society website and his personality sounded like my bunny’s that passed away. I was flip flopping on whether I should or should not adopt him because Wilbur isn’t spayed yet. Well I made my mind up that I wouldn’t, but I just could not stop feeling like I was passing up a great bunny (then again lots of bunnies are). I went and met him (only because I know I can keep them seperate long term if they decide they don’t like each other once they meet when Wilbur is spayed and recovered) and fell in love. I have him set up in a room just for him but I’m going to keep him in an x-pen while he adjusts. I’ve been washing my hands and changing my clothes between going from Totoro to Wilbur. He is so friendly! He comes up and snuggles next to me giving bunny kisses. He’s been running around his pen and doing these wierd half binky things.
He is only 6 months old and when they found him stray he was just a tiny baby who was emaciated, lethargic, dehydrated, covered in ticks, and couldn’t breathe. He had 2 bott flies in his neck pushing on his air tube. He just seems to be so grateful and happy not to be outside in the situation he was in before.
