  It’s probably more like he’s resigned himself to the fact he’s going to be carried, so he tolerates it now

  yeah your right, I sorta tell him if I am going to carry him, I put my hands up, like showing him that I am going to carry him, if he doesn’t want to be carried then he runs away from my hands, then if doesn’t mind then just sits there. When I hold him, he purrs so much, its so cute!
