I am going to stay at home, hanging out with my hubby with the blissful silence that is no kids knocking on my door.

I put in for the 29-30th off at work so I can have dinner with the BF. I am unsure if I am going to dress up this year, but if I do, I want to get the Harry Potter Gryffindor costume.

I really don’t mind working Halloween at work, as it is a Monday, but I’ll feel out of place because I won’t dress up. If i do get that costume, it isn’t appropriate for work  I’ll have to find my ‘THIS BUTTON IS MY COSTUME’ button that is in my room (which will be my work outfit, hahahah!)

We just moved and our neighbors told us they have an annual Halloween party for the whole block and we were invited. I haven’t met any of the other neighbors, so I’m excited to introduce myself. They’re all a bit older with kids, which isn’t necessarily a problem, but so far I’ve felt like we’ve been a little left out. I’m not planning on dressing up, but I might make some fun Halloween cookies or treats to give to the kiddies. Our cul-de-sac is off of a pretty busy road, so I assume we won’t have any trick-or-treaters since all of the kids from our street will be at the party. Speaking of the party, I should confirm when it is exactly since Halloween falls on a Monday this year …

Some years our friends have had parties on Halloween, but I haven’t heard any plans for one this year. I love the fall and I like Halloween, but I hate dressing up so I’m happy to go anywhere I don’t feel pressured to put on a costume 🙂

Oo yeah good point. I should see if a friend of mine is having a party this year.

I used to go to the best Halloween parties when I lived up in MA, but I don’t know anyone who throws them down here. Of course, I’m not a twenty-something anymore, which may be part of the problem. Still, I LOVE Halloween. I’m in a new neighborhood so maybe there will be kids trick or treating here for a change.

Going to a couple Halloween parties with some friends. But I’m most excited to take my cousins (4 year old boy, 2 year old girl) trick or treating (: I sometimes wish I was young enough to go, it was my favorite holiday as a kid, still is but it’s not the same.

I was just thinking about this. I don’t like to buy costumes, I feel that they are super overpriced because well.. they can haha. I like to come up with my own random costumes… last year I was snooki =P this year, I’m not sure.

I’m totally loving the costume choices BWAHAHHA! <3

Last year, a couple of friends and I dressed up as Mario characters with costumes we put together ourselves, and I was Yoshi. I’m probably going to use the same costume this year, because I’m too lazy and I’m in a new place where nobody will know that my costume is a repeat, hehe. On the Saturday night before Halloween, my band will be playing our first show at a bar where the student Halloween party will be held, so I’m going to be dressed up on stage and super excited!

I’ll be wearing my usual costume, which should look much better this year since I’ve lost weight.

I don’t usually wear the back collar with it though, who knows I might this year. If I can find where I put it. My hair will be streaked with that colour purple too (it’s done blue right now).

We’ll have Scooter’s staff over for a party on the Friday – I’m going to make eyeball cakepop. Will probably post looking for other menu ideas before then. On Sat and Sun we’ll be at ComicCon. And sometime in the week before Halloween I have to carve 8 or so pumpkins, once I decide what I’m carving this year.

Chacha – yup! Since a few years ago, each class at my school has had an unofficial band, and I’m part of my class’ first-year band! It’s a ton of fun – practice is definitely the highlight of my week .

I’ve been wanting to dress up as sailor mars but I have no idea where to start with that costume hehe. one day…… one day.

a friend of mine dressed as sailor saturn once. wow was that amazing. she had the outfit perfect.

OMG my favorite holiday! Fall is my favorite season, so much so that if we have ever have a daughter I want to name her Autumn. LOL! But also because my birthday is Oct. 30. When you are a kid that is like the coolest birthday ever. Presents one day, candy overload the next. My husband, sister and I are doing a party on the 29th, combination my birthday and Halloween. And at my house we have some pretty awesome parties. Not sure if we are doing costumes or not. My sister wants it to be a costume party, and if other people dress up that is awesome. But Joe and I suck in that department. Especially compared to our veteran cosplaying friends. Although I have always wanted to do a Kyoya & Renge from Ouran High School with my husband. Although that was mostly and idea I had for an anime con. Halloween would be cool to do it too, since just about all of our friends there would get the reference.

I’ve always been a Sailor Jupiter fan, but Mars and Saturn are close to being my favs too I remember back in grade 8 and 9, me and a friend in art class were always creating our own characters, and the ones we came up with were always fun to draw

I didn’t have cable as a kid, so I always rushed home to watch sailor moon on UPN after school! hahaha. plus people say my personality is exactly like mars [translated: I’m super hot tempered hahaha =X]

I LOVED watching Sailor Moon as a girl.. oh man, it makes me wanna watch now!

My 4-month-old puppy is wearing a cow costume; I will be the farmer… I’m so excited for Halloween!

My best friend of 15 years and I LOVED Sailor Moon. We watched a couple episodes for the nostaligia recently. There’s a live action version that you can find on youtube that I find hilarious. (Sailor Pluto FTW!)

Last year I dressed up as little red riding hood and my husband dressed up like the big bad wolf, cliche couple costume I know. This year I’m not sure what we’re going to do. I think it might just be a quiet night at home.

I think it’s cool that you’re in a band, peppypoo!    I’ve always wanted to be in one but I have no musical talent whatsoever.  Do you sing and/or play an instrument?

I think I may have some VHS recordings of them stashed somewhere in a box lol I had a pretty kickass Sailor Saturn costume when I was younger. Mom spent a fortune on it though!

Haha, a few years ago some of my friends (a few couples) got together and all did stereotypical fairy tale couples costumes…but with reversed roles.  It was pretty hilarious, but props to the guys for getting into it too.

Queensbun – My part in the band is mainly keys and harmonies/backing vocals, but I pitch in on mandolin, violin, and guitar when there’s a need. We’re just a cover band and play at school events, but it’s really fun.

Will we being seeing your awesome pumpkin carvings this year? Also really interested to see the eyeball cake pops. lol I’m decorating some cakes for kids (not trick-or-treaters) and am a bit lost as to what to do.

I love Halloween too .    I had ordered some red contact lenses and fangs.  Fouad had given me an eyeball.   I am going to stick it in my food and mess with the people at seniors at lunch.  

At their age they may not appreciate it tho.  Also if I go to the mosque I will wear it too.  I like werewolves but I am not hairy   lol  Hope not  being a lady n all.

We may have a halloween party at the clubhouse for the residents here so I can do it again.  I bet that would be something  if I put the headband with the pink bunny ears on my head too   lol.    Vampire rabbit.

I told Mary I was going to wear them at church the red eyes and fangs she said you better not you can ride your bike there.   Party pooper.

Who knows they may think I am possessed and try to do an exorcism   rofl.

 I have gone as a $ tree that was fun.   Also after back surgery I had my big plastic back brace and a walker.  I got an idea.  I teased and  messed up my hair.  Wore my pj’s  n slippers.    I took a back pack and got a clear tube.  I taped it to my arm as an intravaneos  thing and attached it to the empty soda bottle with the label peeled off.

Oh that was good the cops come by asked if I needed help.   One of the houses we went to asked if I needed help.

Here in Florida teenagers go trick or treating and a few adults too.

There’s a Halloween party at my barn this Saturday. I’m looking forward to it. Usually I don’t do much. I’m dressing up as a cat and Winnie is going to be a butterfly for the horse costume contest. I’ll post pics.

We don’t get any Trick or Treaters here because we live on a very small, dead-end street so I always go to Mom’s to pass out the candy for her since she’s usually working. Ricky and I dress up and decorate the yard. I bought a BumbleBee costume for Mom’s Westie, Lily. It’s so adorable.

I loved Sailor Moon! I watched it every day after school (way back in Middle School). Jupiter was my fave. I had a bunch of the dolls. Great show. I’d love to find a box set of a few seasons.
