It’s going to be another month or two before Wilbur is going to be spayed and recovered. Today I just saw a rabbit on a humane society site that looks like my rabbit that passed away. The description made him sound so sweet and it made my heart ache a little. I’m deluding myself into thinking that this rabbit will have the same personality as my old one, course it probably won’t. I love WIlbur a lot, she won’t snuggle like my old rabbit did though which kind of makes me sad. Now I’m selfishly having thoughts of seeing the guy and if he has a good personality/ he doesn’t hate me adopting him and keeping him seperate from Wilbur forever if after she recovers she meets him and they don’t work together. I know I can’t tell his personality from a picture. ):

I’d wait. The temptation to introduce your rabbits will be too strong to resist and there’s a better chance of a fight if they’re not both spayed/neutered. He looks super awesome though. I’d keep an eye on him! Go and meet him as long as you’re prepared to go home without him. Maybe you can work something out with the shelter where you can sponser him and have him reserved until you can take him home. It’s pretty unlikely, but you never know. If you cannot resist, perhaps have him live with a nearby friend or relative until you’re ready.

Heehee yeah I’m going to have to let this one go. My goal is to get a companion for Wilbur not a separate one for myself. Who knows? Maybe after Wilbur is spayed and recovered he’ll still be there and she’ll pick him, unlikely as it is ;P There’s plenty of bunnies out there (:
