No, my buns stay home. Rabbits don’t usually react well to changes in environment, and constantly toting them around can be more stressful, and may result in them not eating and getting sick. I’d recommend you skip the bunny stroller and invest in making his home environment the very best.

Yeah rabbits tend to get stressed when they go places. Plus you can’t really carry around a litter box ;P I was asked to bring my bun in to a school event for young children to pet but I politely declined, that would not be fun for her. A lot of bunnies aren’t comfortable with meeting new people/going into unknown environments even with their owners. I guess you kind of have to look at it from his perspective, while bringing him everywhere might make you feel happy it most likely won’t make him happy. I agree with investing in his home environment (:

Actually i believe this bun is completely different, i know alot of buns that have lived long and happy lives, and went around with their mums all over, but in my case, Im getting the stroller and diaper bag for the bun fest Im taking him there to have fun of course, and well obviously if he doesnt like it there i will leave. I hope he does though because theres so many activities i would really like for us to do. But as for the ppl part, i actually find him more happy when theres more ppl around, ( hes an attention hog) Fuzzy is very different i believe lol.

Some people have been able to take their bun with them to and from work each day. Like when a rabbit is used for education. Anyway, I think it really depends on the rabbit. How outgoing they are. I think it would be kind of cute to see a bunny in a stroller, but only if the bunny is having a good time.

He may feel comfortable and sociable at home but he may be more fearful in a new place.

It depends on the rabbit, I believe.

I thought the idea is cute, but I didn’t because I worry about my rabbit’s feelings. I know how she is around new places. I’ve seen therapy rabbits that are totally okay with being in a stroller and being with new people, but they are trained and have really laid back personalities.

In reading some of your other posts I know you were concerned about finances and getting your rabbit neutered. I would recommend that instead of spending money on this item you save it to invest in getting him neutered – it would be the better investment in his health.

I do know that your other rabbit was bit by a dog and I’m not certain of the circumstances but I think that you should invest in a carrier that will keep himr safe in the event that you take him outside for any reason (vet or emergency).

I know you want to show him off, but you should consider what is the most important thing for him and put his safety and health first :~)

I have to agree that a carrier is better by far than a stroller to take to Bunfest. The problem would be if your bunny got spooked, possibly by something as uncontrollable as a noise, and jumped out. It would wreak havoc on the festival, frighten your bunny and possibly not allow you to successfully return him to your home. Anything open runs a big risk. Carriers come with windowlike bars on the front usually, so your bunny can see everything but still be safely enclosed.
I only know of one bunny that has been taken places, and it’s really not in their nature. It is best to begin with thorough training at home so you have a trained rabbit, then move out gently into places where it would be safe. I would urge you to keep the bunny at home or in a carrier and take your dog places instead.

Wait? It’s one of those open strollers like what is intended for humans? I was thinking of those doggie strollers that can be zipped closed (it has a screen that encases the “seat”). I agree, whatever you do, make sure the bun is safe and secure when transporting them anywhere.

I’d just go with a good secure carrier, much safer.

And also a carrier is more reliable when there are vet visits. Don’t have to worry about cramming a bunny in a stroller into a car.

Its a stroller for buns, its kinda like a baby stroller that you can jog with ? like the 3 weels, arg if i could find a picture i would show it :/ But it also comes with a small carrier so you can take the bun out or what ever. ( like vet visits) So i like it alot. and for the diaper bag, im gunna full it with food, his water bottle, icepack, his snacks, his dish and toys and ext.
