        Im trying to make my nic condo but I can not get teh cable ties tight enough.  They still slide when at there tightest.  Im using my hands to tight them.  Any suggestions.  Thanks  Mindy

          I’d try different cable ties. They should not slide. You could be feeding them in wrong though-they only lock in one position so if you’ve flipped them they will slide out. They should not slide ever when in the correct position. However if they are very small they aren’t good and will loosen. I use a pretty standard larger size. Can you take a pic/video of whats going on so we have a clearer picture of the issue?

            I know when mine won’t tighten, it’s because I have them flipped around the wrong way. I have used a pair of my husband’s pliers-type tools to grip the end and pull. Otherwise, they hurt my hands after awhile. It should be impossible for them to pull out if done the right direction. The little ridges stop it from happening.

              Thanks ladies!!  I think thats what Im doing wrong.  I am putting them in the wrong way.  How do you know if its the right way?

                You’ll hear a clicking sound as they get pulled thru.
