Took some free baby cribs off Craigslist and field engineered these bunny keepers.
Our rec room is now my bunny room as well but when I’m not there for everyones sake they are behind bars.

That’s a coincidence — I just bought on eBay for 99 cents a natural willow doll bassinet with an inside depth of about 14″ – essentially a willow woven basket that’s hooded. I thought Petie would snuggle in and nibble in but he largely ignores it. Maybe because there’s a fleece pillow in there and it’s too warm still for fleece? Anyway, maybe I should send the bassinet to you and your bunnies would get better use out of it! lol Do your bunnies use the baby cribs? What are they made of?

What an interesting way to increase their space! (And you’re doing the world a favor too taking those off the market since the “drop-side” cribs are no longer suggested for baby use!)

Thanks for the thumbs up for my rabbit cribs. What they are made of, I have no idea but I inspect daily for chewing and haven’t seen any yet.

Yeah, Maxwell is a really cool dog, he is so sweet and energetic and just loves those bunnies. He follows them around so slow and easy like, they don’t pay him any mind, never did.

My girls are up and down in and out of the crib, they are really happy in them. I had to put a wood barrier up last night cause my baby monitor went off and I saw Furbee and Louise trying to get at each other thru the lattés, went down and Furbee had a big bite on her left jaw. I had been have fighting issues between Furbee and BB but now Louise has joined in.   But Furbee starts it.

Are you planning on bonding them eventually?

I would get Furbee’s bite checked by a vet – if not treated if can develop an abscess.

I need to read up on this bonding thing, I don’t know as much about it as I should.  It seems Pia and Furbee took to each other right off and after a short while BB and Thelma seem to be pretty tight.  Is there something I should be doing to?  Like I said I’m really new at this and have made some mistakes in the process.
