He is an outdoor bunny but he is safe from the weather. We don’t have racoons or cats or anything in our backyards: http://www.flickr.com/photos/65443448@N03/6175741367/

It’s good he is up close to the house. It’s sad when rabbits are stuck way down at the bottom of the yard and rarely thought about. That happens a lot here.

I think that wood panelling is good as he wouldn’t be able to climb it. He is put in the hutch overnight isn’t he? For safety?

Yeah, I put him in his hutch at night, around 8:00 to 9:00 o’clock at night, then let him out at 7:00 o’clock in the morning. So he gets a lot of exercise.

That looks pretty safe to me as well. I worry most about Hawks or crows who swoop down for their pray. It’s pretty sheltered, but if you hear a bird, best to shoo it away asap.

We don’t have crows, we have a hawk, but it doesn’t now my rabbit exists!

I think he has a pretty nice place to live in

If there is a hawk around, I wouldn’t take the chance. It’s too dangerous, and you are tempting fate. Just because the hawk isn’t interested now, doesn’t mean it won’t ever be.

And I read that a hawk would come in because there is a covering, so they would think that they are flying into a trap.
