I don’t know what got into Momo during last nights pre-bedtime run. But she was being a little demon. She kept trying to get into things she knows are a no-no. Like digging at the flappy things on the bottom of the couch, getting behind furniture where cords are, chewing on the furniture. All stuff she has more or less outgrown by this point.  When I would tell her “Uh Uh”, she just kept going. Then I repeated “Uh Uh” and pointed the squirt bottle at her. Usually at that she will stop her misbehaving. But she didn’t. Heck even the squirt bottle was not stoping her at some points.

Then she finally turned her attention to an old sleeping bag she loves to dig at, which is ok, because the thing is very worn and doesn’t even zip anymore. We just keep it around for an extra blanket on the recent chilly evenings we have been having. When I put her away for the night, I noticed that the sleeping bag was soaked in pee. I guess she got mad at me telling her off or something, because she has not piddled outside of her cage in a couple of months now, and I thought she was finally over that. Thankfully the sleeping bag is water repellent, so it did not soak through to my couch. Or I would have been really mad having to scrub that down before bed. But I still was not pleased with her.

We have been using equine fresh for her litter the past couple days and so far she has not gone on a digging frenzy in it yet. *fingers crossed* But she now decides to put like half of her poops right in front of the little box. At least I am not having to scoop the litter back in on a daily basis, but come on! It is probably because of the change, and I have just been tossing them back in there so she gets the message. But for whatever reason she will lay in those poops before I get to picking them up… Is that normal?

On another note, something really funny did happen last night and I wish I had my camera going. She was zooming back and fourth on the couch, then jumped over to our loveseat. I guess she did not realize the dog was curled up on it sleeping because she crashed right into him. Startled herself and scared the heck out of my dog, who then got all angsty because “the bunny was picking on him again”.

Hahahaahahaha! “the flappy things” That’s what I call them too! lol

Honestly, I think weather affects them. Not so much with Lolli now as she doesn’t have the need to be completely destructive on a constant basis. But I could always tell the weather was changing cause both of them would be on a holy tear throughout the apartment for a few days. lol

Hopefully she will calm her little bunny butt down!

Mmm, full moon? lol Have you had new people or animals in the house that day? I have seen mine go into that “bee in the bonnet” mode before.

I saw Timbu do this once or twice. Did a pile of territorial poops then flopped onto them. Niiiice. I think they must be in love with their own scent. haha.

Nope nothing new. She was just being very evil I guess.

It seems like all bunnies are causing problems. Huckleberry has been digging carpet (according to her twitter account), Chacha binkied on my stomach to wake me up this morning.. hahaha!!!!!!!

Don’t feel bad! Leopold was refusing to go to bed the other night. Finally, at about 12:30am, I went in there with intentions to just grab him and put him in. After MUCH chasing and him hiding in places he knows I can’t reach him. I was finally able to trick him by opening the closet door and crinkling the hay sack. He came running and I snatched him. Sheesh…

I totally guffawed at Momo jumping on the dog. One of those laughs that comes out before you know it, and I’m at work (thanks a lot Joyful).

hahaha great post, my buns sometimes go into demon-mode too, which also involves destructive rampages through the living room – this is partly why i recently placed a large order to BB for some new stuff to keep them busy.

My two dust bunnies recently figured out they could push the fireplace cover with their noses to open it just enough to hop in and get COVERED in soot! I had to take them outside and dust them and then barricade the fireplace cover with my dumbbells. Needless to say, they did NOT approve.
