Thanks for pointing me to those threads – Jack sounds EXACTLY like Powder and the body language on the videos is a mirror image (and Powder and Jack look a like too, looks like I am watching a video of my rabbit almost). Stickers doesn’t fight back, so thankfully I don’t have to deal with that, but maybe I can get him to cool it off with some of the stuff BB did.

I had to give up the idea of enclosed, neutral territory – neither of them were aggressive, but the mounting was causing serious stress and preventing a bond. So I let them run around free supervised (with no places to “hide” and fight so I can’t break them up) so Stickers had room to run from Powder. Powder ended up chasing her non-stop for sometimes 3-4 hours at a time (the stamina of men when they want “something”), but after about a week he just one day gave up and was like “fine you win, we can snuggle instead” and then their bond went fast. If you look up BB’s threads on Jack and Vivian there are videos of Jack chasing Vivian through a bunch of cardboard tunnels… my two were exactly like that, for hours on end.

I tried that Coco and with mine, it didn’t work – it made them go as far away as possible and if they got near enough Powder would bite her because he was stressed lol

It’s a useful read for anyone having humping issues with their pair.

*nod* I watched it before I decided to let my two have some freedom to run around and I figured “well, if mine copy that, they can’t do it too long, that looks way too tiring” boy was I wrong! lol But letting them tire themselves out chasing actually helped bonding, cause they would get so tired they’d just flop next to each other out of exhaustion. Since their bond cemented I haven’t seen a single hump attempt either.
