So after months of saying I would get the bunnies a treat ball, I finally ordered one, and it came in just a few days ago.  They got the hang of the ball pretty quickly, and absolutely go nuts pushing it around to get their nommies .  The first few times they’d roll the ball into a corner and just sit there looking at me expecting me to fish it out for them, but now they figured out how to use their paws to dig it out of the corner.

Of course, this post wouldn’t be complete without a video! Just to clarify, those specks on the carpet are pellets, not dirt, haha.

Oh, this made me laugh. They are so cute, especially when they’re working side-by-side! Now I really want to get one of those treat balls.

Oh that is cute! Glad they love it. Of course that doesn’t have anything to do with nommies coming out. I need one of those for Lolli!

Lol, I had no idea those things were so fun. I figured they would just chew on it, but rolling it around… I love it

Haha, they’re only crazy about the ball because it’s a food dispenser…I put their dinner inside and it falls out as they roll it around. I’m sure they would pay it no attention otherwise..XD

What other kinds of treats can you put in there? Momo sometimes likes ball shaped things. This may be worth a try.

Hehe grumpybun, I would be terribly jealous if Peppy went to the UK and I still haven’t been!

Joyfull_music, I’ve just been giving them their regular dinner pellets (Oxbow BBT) in the ball. Both of them are little pigs that normally scarf down their food way too quickly, so I thought that this would be a good way to slow them down a little while introducing more exercise. The openings are adjustable, so I imagine the ball could accomodate a number of different-sized pellets or treats.  I got this one from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/PetSafe-SlimC…amp;sr=8-1

I need to get a second one, Spence is such brat now that he’s figured out how to play with it, he won’t let Katie have a turn! Mine always manage to roll it onto the kitchen floor and then they sit there and pout until I go get it.
