  I’ve been quite upset this past weekend and week. I was thinking it was because going to weddings makes me depressed as I’m alone. But I just realized tonite that next Wednesday will be the one year anniversary of Eddie’s death. I’m not consciously dwelling on it. I do think about him a lot as I talk about him a lot. And I’ve really been missing him lately. So…..now I’m crying. lol
  
  Can you all keep me in your thoughts and prayers? This weekend especially. I have a feeling it’s going to be pretty rough.

  Don’t worry, you’ll make it through! That first year is always tough. When my kitty died, I was always thinking about him. I remember being sad when it was the first anniversary too. I easily remembered it because he died shortly after my grandma died. Things have gotten better and I even joke a little about how well behaved he is now. He just sits there on top of the TV stand, no longer getting into things.

  And I just remembered my kitty died last September too. God, it’s going to be a bad month. LOL I’ve been REALLY REALLY REALLY wanting another loppy SO BAD. I wonder if Eddie’s anniversary is the reason why. Lolli seems to be doing fine but I’m going to keep an eye on her. She didn’t mourn Eddie or really react in any way. Of course, I was so out of it, I didn’t bring Eddie back home so she could grieve.
  
  Sigh. I just need to allow myself feel the grief, I guess. I just feel weird about it because my dog, cat, and Eddie and Lolli are all so special to me. I was the same when my dog passed away. Every April for a couple of years after, I always grieved around the anniversary too.

  **Hugs to you** Everyone feels blue sometimes. Spend some nice quality time with Lolli. Hopefully she will cheer you up. My buns always make me happy when I feel down.

  Anniversaries are always hard, and sometimes your moods remind you even if you have forgotten the date. Just ride it out, spend furbaby time, and be gentle with yourself. You loved him, and the love stays long after he’s gone. {{{{{{{{{{{Hugs}}}}}}}}}}}

  I’m sorry you’re struggling. Hugs. Weddings totally suck when you’re alone! And then you start thinking about everything else… I hope you feel better soon.

  I’s been almost 4 years since my Nietzsche – one very awesome husky – went to the bridge. I dream about him all the time.
  Hanging with Lolli will help.

  Thanks everyone. So far so good. Thursday I felt like bawling all day. I think it’s going to be a day by day basis. Plus I have Lolli to go get snuggles from. Even though she doesn’t like the snuggles as much as me.
