So I have a little question.
On Ponyo’s hind feetsies I’ve noticed, right at the back of his heel, he looks a little red. I was worried he had sore hocks at first, but they’re not painful for him (he lets me touch them) and I have to part his fur considerably just to see them, so he’s not rubbed raw. It’s also not blistered or anything. It seems, when I part further up, that they’re the same colour as the rest of his feet, but the fact that I can see them easier right at the back, and not really at all on the rest of the food, caused me to want to ask anyway.
We’re seeing the vet on monday if I can get another slot (we were meant to go yesterday at four, but my lift didn’t come and it was already 3:45), for Ringo’s initial check ups and for Ponyo to have his teeth looked at and such. I’m paranoid and always ask them to check for ear mites and look at poop and the like. I must be such a pain in the butt there ”Can you do this, and this and would you mind letting me know about these too? Sorry, thanks <3". So I'll be asking about his little feet also, but I'm pretty sure he had them last time we went as well, and they didn't mention it being a problem. Perhaps it's because he's white, and easier to see red through. But I'd rather check.
What do you guys think it is?
