  I went on a “shopping spree!” lol If you call dollar store specials and walmart sale bins a shopping spree! lol I spent a whopping $12 on all this bun fun! lol There is a cool bowl apple chew sticks a wood duckie with dangly toys a new litter box and lots of different shaped and sized balls oh and the only thing missing in this pic is the carpet tile.
  
  Also I picked up some boxes from the store too! I thought a new hidey hut would be fun!
  
  Next I made a new hay rack! I used a empty 12 count soda can box and cut slats in it and stufed it with hay!
  
  I attatched it to Thistle cage with cable ties.
  
  Then I took the wiffle ball and cramed it full of hay pellets and raisins!
  
  I really like the feed bin it has a knob on the back that screws on to tighten a plate to the cage or NIC cubes and its a thick heavy plastic so it wont get chewed up.
  
  Checking it out.
  
  Thistle aproves!
  
  The hidey hut was a hit too!

  Sorry theses pix are horrible I had to enlarge them alot.
  
  I stuffed the other ball with his fresh veggies man he loves it!
  
  In the pic above the carpet at the top is the tile carpet at the faimily dollar and it had a thick rubber/plastic back to it and Thistle couldnt destroy it! woohoo! Im going to trim it up and place it in his hutch so he has better traction.
  
  I put all these new things in his run and he didnt stop doing binkies for like a hour! lol

  Those are some really good ideas. When I’m at WalMart or the grocery store I’ll always grab an empty cardboard box if it’s a good shape or I think the buns will like it. My living room has lots of boxes in here.

  I saw those carpet tiles at family dollar too, didn’t pick them up at the time (I was on a mission for soap and tp) but may pick some up this weekend.

  The carpet tiles are great! Thistle likes to flop on his! lol He has yet to pull anything off it or chew any pieces off it which is a BIG deal for me, He loves to dig on it too

  The hay rack is awesome! It works great for hay because you choose where the holes should be so there is no hay dumping outside of the cage and getting spread around the entire house! lol Only problem is if your buns are major chewers it dosent last as long and it wold look like they had a hay explosion in their cage! lol Thistle has chewed a big gaping hole in his and hops up inside it and squooshes up in it to peekaboo out the top! lol its really funny!

  I just bought a blue and purple slinky for my buns at the dollarstore. I figured Olivia would enjoy it most but Stormy had a ball with it. Yay for the dollarstore.

  PJ–I went back and got some of them, as Aurthur has had an upgrade to his condo. Same here about the chewing too and yet Arthur doesn’t chew these! And I even had to cut them! I have to get him a slinky too, but I keep forgetting to grab one when I’m out.

  Those carpets are amazing! I cut mine up to fit the little shelves in Thistles new hutch to give him traction, I got these low profile sticky back velcro peices and put them on the back of the carpet so if the carpet gets wet or needs to be shaken out I can just pull them right up! Im going back for more! lol
